Couldn't of had a finer day! This photo is from the top of the Grandes Platieres with Mont Blanc in the background, plus myself, Steve (Bike Alp) and Dan (Outbreak). The route: Samoëns,1600-Samoëns,1100-telepherique to the ridge-Les Carroz-Flaine-telepherique to Grandes Platieres-Samoëns. 50km, 1000m ascent & >4000m descent. The whole loop is excellent but the single trail from Roux into Samoëns is the best I have ridden:-)
