The Pugsley is amazing, though I don't know how many steep, long hills I'll be climbing until I get the ratio sorted. Let's see how the 36:17 goes with me and the Pugsley 15kg, I may change it to 32:18 soon depending on the pain factor. It's more manouverable and responsive than I expected but does tram-line a wee bit. Making the turns does take some getting used to. I can't work out just yet if there's any strange effect from the dished off set wheels - to me turning left seems a little easier but may be it's the alcohol from the Tegernsee Helles. Very solid frame, nice paint job and interesting design. Michael was saying (according to Cosmic sports) there are now 5 of these beasties in Germany, with now one in Munich (apparently there's a guy in Rosenheim who has just ordered one and wants it built up with a Rohlof!) No quick release wheels - so need to carry about a light weight 15mm wrench. Needless to say I'm not looking forward to the first flat, at which point it's time to figure out how to get an Endomorph off a Large Marge rim, fix the inner and then pumping like a bastard for the next two hours;-) Anyway, I've only done about 10km so not even had a chance yet to experiment with tyre pressures. According to Surly I now "own one of the most versatile framesets ever produced" so I'm sure looking forward to getting to know it better:-)
