Benediktenwand

More snow than I thought there would be. Carola and I cycled and pushed our way up to Tanner Alm (1340m) above the village of Jachenau. Once there we found the Höhenweg wasn't too snowed up after all. The trail faces South so much of the snow, especially in the forest had melted away. After the crap weather in Munich yesterday it was just nice to be out enjoying the sun, and the Kürbiskern cookies;-)

Weather was amazing, wasn't it... we were in Obertauern again for 2 days of pure bliss ... (yes that is actually possible without a bike) skiing... on to Brig next week for a whole week of snow!

yes, in the dim and distant past I do recall it was possible to have a fun weekend without a bike.
