Went to Garmisch and rode this loop today with Martin & Carola. The photo shows Martin (+ Ventana) beside the Eibsee, which is close to the start. It took us 9 hours, including 3 beer stops, to get our asses around the 86km and 2051Hm circuit, which aint too bad. Nowhere was the riding that technically interesting but the scenery, especially by Eibsee and, further on through Leutaschtal, certainly made up for it. It's not a technical trials fest, just a nice classic round. I also learnt today that I'm developing an intolerance to grey haired old roady type mountain bikers who ring their fucking bell and expect to get let past; needless to say I didn't let this happen;-)
